| Type 2

The Yamaha SR500, which served as the donor bike, was initially purchased to be ridden before Auto Fabrica was conceived. However, it was quickly stripped down and transformed into Type 2 shortly thereafter.

Work on Type 2 began alongside the construction of Type 1. The goal was to maintain a similar style to Type 1 but with a classic 'cafe racer' twist. The design was driven by simplicity, lightweight construction, and functional industrial elements. With racing-inspired ergonomics, a kick-start, and upgraded suspension, this bike offers the rideability that every true motorcyclist seeks.

The final design of Type 2, with its refined color, material, and finish choices, began to resonate with the aesthetic of Type 1. This marked the beginning of Auto Fabrica’s distinct design DNA. Today, Type 2 remains in Auto Fabrica’s possession, proudly displayed at their headquarters as a symbol of the company's evolution and craftsmanship.ha SR500
